1 Korintus 12:3-13: Karunia-Karunia Roh Kudus
Dalam bagian ini, Rasul Paulus menjelaskan tentang karunia-karunia Roh Kudus yang diberikan kepada orang percaya untuk membangun tubuh Kristus.
Ayat 3: Pengakuan bahwa Yesus adalah Tuhan
"Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit." (NASB)
Rasul Paulus menekankan bahwa hanya melalui Roh Kudus kita dapat mengaku bahwa Yesus adalah Tuhan. Kita tidak dapat mengaku itu dengan kekuatan kita sendiri, tetapi hanya melalui Roh Kudus yang bekerja di dalam kita.
Ayat 4-6: Karunia-Karunia Roh Kudus yang Berbeda-Beda
"There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all." (NKJV)
Rasul Paulus menjelaskan bahwa ada berbagai macam karunia-karunia Roh Kudus yang diberikan kepada orang percaya. Karunia-karunia ini berbeda-beda dan memiliki tujuan yang sama, yaitu untuk membangun tubuh Kristus.
Ayat 7-10: Contoh Karunia-Karunia Roh Kudus
"But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one is given through the Spirit the word of wisdom, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues." (NKJV)
Rasul Paulus memberikan contoh beberapa karunia-karunia Roh Kudus, seperti karunia hikmat, karunia pengetahuan, karunia iman, karunia kesembuhan, karunia mukjizat, karunia nubuat, karunia membedakan roh, karunia berbahasa, dan karunia menafsirkan bahasa.
Ayat 11-13: Tujuan Karunia-Karunia Roh Kudus
"But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills. For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit." (NKJV)
Rasul Paulus menjelaskan bahwa tujuan karunia-karunia Roh Kudus adalah untuk membangun tubuh Kristus. Karunia-karunia Roh Kudus diberikan kepada setiap orang percaya untuk memenuhi kebutuhan tubuh Kristus.
