Black Veil Brides is an American heavy metal band from Hollywood, California, formed in 2006. The band's current lineup consists of Andy Biersack (vocals), Jinxx (lead guitar, backing vocals), Jake Pitts (rhythm guitar, backing vocals), Lonny Eagleton (bass), and Christian "CC" Coma (drums).
History
The band was originally formed in 2006 under the name Biersack, with Andy Biersack on lead vocals, Jinxx on guitar, and Jeremy "J.D." Ferguson on bass. The band released a demo album, "We Stitch These Wounds", in 2007. They were later joined by Jake Pitts on rhythm guitar and Sandra Alvarenga on drums. Alvarenga would be later replaced by Matt "The Bull" Deis in 2009.
In 2010, the band signed with Standby Records and released their debut album, "Black Veil Brides", which peaked at number 36 on the Billboard 200. The album spawned several singles, including "Knives and Pens", "Fallen Angels", and "Perfect Weapon".
Their second album, "Set the World on Fire", was released in 2011. This album debuted at number 11 on the Billboard 200 and was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). It also spawned popular singles like "Rebel Love Song", "The Legacy", and "The Last One".
