2023 World Gymnastics Championships Qualification Schedule
The 2023 World Gymnastics Championships are scheduled to take place in Antwerp, Belgium from September 29 to October 8, 2023. The qualification schedule for the championships has been announced by the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG).
Continental Championships (2022-2023)
The Continental Championships will serve as the first step in the qualification process for the 2023 World Gymnastics Championships. The top teams and individuals from each continent will earn berths to the championships.
- European Championships: August 11-21, 2022 (Munich, Germany)
- Asian Championships: October 13-16, 2022 (Doha, Qatar)
- Pan American Championships: November 15-20, 2022 (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil)
- African Championships: December 10-17, 2022 (Cairo, Egypt)
- Oceania Championships: February 23-26, 2023 (Melbourne, Australia)
World Cup Series (2022-2023)
The World Cup Series will provide another opportunity for gymnasts to qualify for the World Championships. The top finishers in each apparatus will earn points towards qualification.
- World Cup Stuttgart: November 25-27, 2022 (Stuttgart, Germany)
- World Cup Cottbus: December 15-17, 2022 (Cottbus, Germany)
- World Cup Baku: March 9-11, 2023 (Baku, Azerbaijan)
- World Cup Doha: March 23-25, 2023 (Doha, Qatar)
Additional Qualification Events (2023)
Two additional qualification events will take place in 2023 to provide more opportunities for gymnasts to qualify for the World Championships.
- FIG World Challenge Cup: April 13-16, 2023 (Szosd, Hungary)
- FIG World Challenge Cup: May 11-14, 2023 (Varna, Bulgaria)
Final Qualification Rankings
The final qualification rankings will be determined by the top finishers in each apparatus across all qualification events. The top 24 teams and 96 individuals will earn berths to the 2023 World Gymnastics Championships.
