16 Tenses dan Rumusnya
Dalam bahasa Inggris, terdapat 16 tenses yang digunakan untuk mengekspresikan waktu dan aspek dari sebuah tindakan. Berikut adalah 16 tenses tersebut beserta rumusnya:
1. Present Simple
- Rumus: S + V1 (base form)
- Contoh: I go to the market.
2. Present Continuous
- Rumus: S + is/are/am + V1 (base form) + -ing
- Contoh: I am studying English.
3. Present Perfect
- Rumus: S + has/have + V3 (past participle)
- Contoh: I have eaten breakfast.
4. Present Perfect Continuous
- Rumus: S + has/have + been + V1 (base form) + -ing
- Contoh: I have been studying English for 3 hours.
5. Simple Past
- Rumus: S + V2 (past tense)
- Contoh: I went to the market.
6. Past Continuous
- Rumus: S + was/were + V1 (base form) + -ing
- Contoh: I was studying English at 8 o'clock.
7. Past Perfect
