Love Is Patient and Kind
In the Bible, 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 is a passage that is often referred to as the "love chapter." This passage, written by the apostle Paul, beautifully describes the characteristics of love.
Love Is Patient

It Is Not Irritable or Resentful

Love is not easily provoked or angered. It does not hold grudges or harbor resentment towards others.
It Does Not Rejoice at Wrongdoing

Love does not take pleasure in the misfortunes of others or in injustice. Instead, it celebrates truth and righteousness.

Love is willing to bear the burdens of others, believe in their potential, hope for their good, and endure through difficult circumstances.
In this passage, Paul provides a beautiful and challenging description of love. May we strive to embody these characteristics in our own relationships and interactions with others.
