1 Corinthians 10:21-23: The Freedom to Choose

Do Not Provoke the Lord to Jealousy
"You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You cannot participate in the Lord's table and the table of demons." (1 Corinthians 10:21, NKJV)

Here, Paul is not saying that we have the freedom to do whatever we want, but rather that we have the freedom to choose what is beneficial for our spiritual growth and the good of others. Not everything that is permissible is necessarily beneficial or edifying. We must use our freedom wisely, considering the consequences of our actions on ourselves and those around us.
