The Contenders
While there are no production vehicles that can achieve 0-60 mph in 1 second, there are a few concept cars and prototypes that are pushing the boundaries of acceleration:
Bloodhound LSR
The Bloodhound LSR is a jet-powered car designed to reach speeds of over 1,000 mph. While it's not designed to accelerate from 0-60 mph, it can reach 600 mph in just 16 seconds.

Rimac C_Two
The Rimac C_Two is a Croatian electric supercar that can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 1.85 seconds. It's getting close, but still short of our 1-second target.
